I can't really think of any Taysom passes that were completely embarrassing. He seemed to have a better touch and made some good reads. Even threaded the needle at one point and Apo had his best post-Heaps game. Now that the receivers are stepping up it would be nice to see some real YAC. One step at a time I guess.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostI am cuatiously optimistic. Like I said it was obviously sloppy but I also saw some real progress.

Taysom was great in the air. I can only recall one pass-- an out to Ridley-- that looked like a poor throw. The others looked like throwaways. The interception could not have been put in a better place. Much better game from the receivers, that one interception notwithstanding. It was substantial progress. Hopefully, we can replicate that when we need it.Originally posted by YOhio View PostI can't really think of any Taysom passes that were completely embarrassing. The MTSU defensive front really didn't pressure Hill much. I expect some passes off the mark next week. But I hope that having Hoffman and Williams back make up for what will be a more erratic Hill.Originally posted by YOhio View PostI can't really think of any Taysom passes that were completely embarrassing. Will he? I think I just heard on BYUtv that Hine could have come back this game, if needed. Maybe I heard wrong?Originally posted by USUC View PostAlso, its a bummer Hine got knocked out. He is a huge weapon to have when the offense is struggling by creating short fields and giving BYU a shot in the arm after giving up points. He will be missed against USU.τὸν ἥλιον ἀνατέλλοντα πλείονες ἢ δυόμενον προσκυνοῦσιν

That is extremely good news if true. Jay Drew (I think) tweeted he was out cold. I just assumed he had a concussion and wouldn't be allowed to next week.Originally posted by All-American View PostWill he? actually, I was thinking "who the hell is he?" when he had that sack. Didn't watch him much after that.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostDid anyone keep an eye on Pikula and have thoughts on his play? He sure showed a nice burst on that sack.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Bronco said Hine was out cold for two solid minutes. But the trainers said he came back really quick and wasn't showing any lingering effects of the concussion.Originally posted by Surfah View PostTyler Beck has a severe hamstring injury. How bad is it Katy? That kid can't catch a break.
Like Indy said on twitter he should be leading the world in kick returns.

And led the team in tackles.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostJorgensen unblocked with a free shot on the RB, still misses the tackle. Next play, he blitzes and falls down when the blocker picks him up. Awesome."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12.
