Call it being "fired" call it being "forced out" Anae was definitely driven out - his only option for staying at BYU was to accept a demotion or a re-appointment to a different role, a la Bosco. There was a mutiny among other coaches - deemed by Bronco at the time - to be indispensable who said they would be gone if Anae continued as OC. Accepting a lower rank at Arizona was the better of two unwelcome options for Coach Anae.

Bronco saying he asked Anae not to leave and Anae coming back now with the full ritual kumbaya isn't evidence to the contrary.

Even among the less questioning faithful they aren't totally buying what BYU wants to sell us to make the Anae hire look more positive.
Hilarious poll. Do you think Texas will definitely win Saturday? Or do you think it's closer to 50-50? If you think Texas has 74% chance to win you vote for the latter.
