If your point is that Blackmon seriously considered Utah, I don't think any of us would have a problem with that. Lots of BYU recruits strongly considered Utah. We're just excited that Blackmon's official LOI is sitting in a fax tray at the BYU football offices right now.

Agreed. Blackmon seriously considering Utah is very believable. Blackmon receiving and official LOI from Utah, signing said LOI, faxing said LOI to Utah only to have it rejected is laughable.

His source is clearly wrong. Martzen is byus recruiting coordinator he is not going to lie about compliance.

First dude says Blackmon sent it in this morning. When Martzen said not true you cant reject and LOI this guy said it was back in December. Martzen refutes that again saying he was not eligible to be a midyear.

Martzen also as I he committed to BYU over a week ago.

You do realize that Blackmon actually faxed an loi to Utah this morning that they declined.

Man, I call BS. Utah lost some super mediocre players like Joe Tukuafu to USU, I would think they'd be scrambling for whatever plain talent is out there. Even if true it wouldn't bother me, you guys ditched De'Ondre Wesley and I'm happy you did.

That is totally different "first signed a LOI with Utah". Now it's "wanted to sign with Utah".
