So I guess not much is known about the kid? Don't think I'd even heard his name before today.

We talked about him a bit over the summer when he committed. He committed back in July. He is definitely an unknown at this point.

He is a two-time junior Olympian and clearly has legit speed. But he is undersized and didn't draw a lot of interest on a national level for his football skills.

BYU has a legit chance at a 4 star DB named Ben Sukut. He is only a sophomore but is getting a lot of love. Here is an article about him as a freshman last year:

No. But he really likes BYU, his twitter feed is full of stuff abiut the c ougars. His highlights remind me a lot of Craig Bills.

BYU - It’s a great program, it’s up-and-coming. They run that spread, high-tempo and I’m kind of used to that. We run that at my school. Also, I’m LDS (Church of Latter Day Saints), and I really like the genuine coaching staff. It’s a great education, and a meaningful degree. It’s just a great atmosphere. It’s a nice campus.

In January, Mama plans on taking an official visit to BYU the weekend of Jan. 31. He’ll also take an official visit on the weekend of Jan. 17 though as of yet, the destination is undecided. He will either visit USC or UCLA but the Trojans are the favorite to land that visit due to friends Viane Talamaivao, JuJu Smith and others also planning to be on campus that weekend.

BSU just got a kid to flip from Texas A&M. Yates brought in a lot of their other top players before he left to coach at Texas A&M.

I didn't watch much, I didn't hear either ones name called during the portion I watched.

I did see Kenyon Frison for Utah, he had a great week of practice and looked very good during the game. I hope he flips somewhere else.

Per ESPN the following players are all visiting BYU on January 31st, final visits before signing day which is February 5th.

Damien Mama
Fred Warner
Tyler Cook
Keyon Dilosa

I am confident we land Cook and Warner, Dilosa also looks pretty good.

Leiataua is an interesting one. He really wanted to play at BYU but we were strapped for schollies on the D-line and did not offer him until November 30th. He currently holds offers from Stanford, Colorado, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin.

Mama we all know about, I think he is an SC lean but you never know. Maybe we can finally land one of these top notch Poly kids.

So, my cousin is going to her school's winter formal with Will Sedgwick. I'll do what I can to make sure he remains a BYU committment.

Are these all LDS kids. It was a while ago, but Bronco once said we will get all the LDS kids. I am pretty sure he has come to the same conclusion I did at the time, isn't going to happen. It would be nice though.

It is a pretty well know fact I am lousy at doing searches. I am afraid it might take hours for me to do the search and come up with a link. I am pretty sure it was around the time he became head coach and also said something like, "they will recruit us" (I am not going to search that link either).

If not providing the link is proof I am full of shit on this, so be it. It still would be cool if we could get all the LDS kids, although I understand why that won't happen.
