Indy, what was Crowton's offense ranked his last 3 years vs the current last 3 years?
I'm really not interested in answering this. Anything I say will be interpreted by the resident knuckleheads as another "defense" of Crowton, and I'm not in the mood for dealing with moronic shitheads today.

I thought weren't in favor of him coming back.

I am busy handling "going over the cliff" right now, but I will look it up tonight.

I will bet Crowton his last 3 years played better teams and his offense was better than these last 3 years under Bronco. Also, I would be shocked, shocked, shocked if BYU landed a proven OC. That just isn't the BYU way.

it should be very easy to prove me wrong, if you are right. But I remember those days, and there is no defense of those years. Case in point.

Crowton thought my BIL was a freshman when he was a junior. He was considering retiring due to an injury but Crowton telling him "You're a freshman; you can redshirt" sealed the deal.

I get it that many of you hate Gary Crowton and he was not a great head coach but he has been a good OC and had won a national championship. If, (and it is a big IF) he came back it would be as OC only.

That said, I would take him any day over who we have now. Doman is so far in over his head, it is ridiculous and probably why Reynolds retired. I have lost so much respect for Doman for never taking any accountability for the lack of production. It either wasn't his call, which is bullshit or the player didn't understand the call, which is also bullshit. He is awful.

I loved last night simply because we won the game without the help of the offense at all. Listening to Jan and JP on the post game show, they really wanted to say what the problem was yet couldn't. He is bad and he has to go. Holmoe knows this and it will be interesting to me to see what kind of pissing match ensues between Bronco and Tom over canning Doman.

He was OC for 4 years. How were the later 3?

Replace Doman with any prior OC and you could say the same thing. I can't think of a worse one in my time as a BYU fan.

The fans were pleased with the Doman hire. I think fans are smart enought to spot a problem, just not how to fix it. AS I have said over and over, fixing it requires a proven quantity. Who is out there that fits that criteria and BYU actually would have a prayer of hiring?
I'd be willing to give Aaron Roderick a try. I can't imagine there hasn't been some chafing with his situation up on the Hill.

So an average total offense rank of 52 and average scoring offense rank of 50. Sounds mediocre.

Which is all we needed with this year's defense. Bronco does a good job cranking out quality defenses year after year. If we can have even a mediocre offense to pair with a good Bronco D, we'd be in great shape.

Why did Bronco do that goof ball move to make everyone apply for their jobs just to get rid of Anae? RA was good, I still don't get why byu fans hated him.
