B1G putting the squeeze on ORWA.

      Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Assuming, as has been reported, that they'll get full shares after the next media contract kicks in, they would be foolish to turn that down.

Thamel and McMurphy both report that UO and UW are big 10 bound.

Sources: While there had been some initial pushback, the Big Ten vote is expected to be unanimous. First signature move of Tony Petitti's stint as Big Ten commissioner is on the cusp.

I think they have a shot. Or, at least, they should hold out for the Big 10. No sense in settling for less guys.

It’s hilarious Utah actually think the Big Ten would even think about them. Next up. Stanford and Cal..

Curious on your Buckeye perspective on whether Notre Dame will ever bite the B1G lure. My view is that Stanford might help get Notre Dame. So it might be Notre Dame and Stanford up next rather than Cal. But I've never quite understood why the Irish haven't yet joined the B1G. My expectation was that they would back when all this business started but the Irish declined and provided an opening for Nebraska.

I don’t think so. It is not lucrative enough yet and they still tend to be relevant which only solidifies their decision to remain independent. It would be a nice addition and adding Stanford may help but I just don’t see it. Only way I see it is if the ACC implodes and their other sports need a place to land. Maybe the Big Ten could force it then.

I guess they assessed that uofutah was not attainable.

                          C'mon B1G, have some confidence!
