who could Utah least afford to lose to injury for the year? For BYU, I think it is obviously Riley. Whether you love him or "don't like him", I doubt anyone has any confidence in the alternatives at this stage. If he goes down, I think it is a struggle to be bowl eligible this year.

Whit deserves credit. He really could use Blechen right now on D so to stick to the suspension is pretty commendable. I am sure other coaches would find a reason to shorten the suspension for good behavior.
I'm not sure the Wynn thing isn't a blessing in disguise. Not for Wynn, of course, but now the program can also move on. Wynn wasn't taking the program anywhere and was mostly living off fumes from the bowl game against Kal.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

There is a "no exceptions" rule that was applied to Blechen, but I don't know what, if anything, Whit had to do with the formation of the rule or its application.
