And that is the online equivalent of a pin. I submit.

It its nice knowing that you hold the ultimate trump card .

Honestly, as an occupational byproduct, i generally watch the injured guys too see exactly how their injuries affect them. A guy can say he feels great, but walking from drill to drill our even back to the huddle is the ultimate lie detector.

Ditto - I marks the beginning of the season and it will answer some questions.

What questions will a game against Northern Colorado answer? I think we'll have to wait until the USU game to form any conclusions.

I'm excited for this game for the sole reason that it is the first game of the season and it offers the opportunity to go to RES to witness the Utes play football.

Beyond that, this game is not exciting and really won't tell us much.

Our offense and defense practice against better competition every day in practice. Our 1s and 2s are all better athletes and if we put a team out there consisting of nobody more than our 2s, we should win this game by a large margin.

This game is a glorfied scrimmage.

My sole interest is in seeing the start of football and hoping that nobody gets hurt.

I hate these kind of games. I hate the BYU/Weber game. I hate this game.

I hate "Directional Michigan School" vs Wisconsin games.

These games are pointless and there's no reason for a D1 school to play these teams.

Who will be the vendors at RES? What new food offerings will be available throughout the season? Will our "seat neighbors" be the same or will there be new ones? Has anyone made an attempt to improve the "production" of game day or is there still a monkey with an iPod and a volume dial manning the PA system?

                    Inquiring minds want to know.

Aren't most of the Directional Michigan Schools DI/FBS teams?

While fans think these games suck, there is a reason they are played or they wouldn't be played, right?

Practice. A chance to tune things up on the big stage before hitting the meat of the schedule. Money. A nearly sure win leaving only 5 more wins to get to a bowl game=money=more practice.

Rah, Rah, Give 'em the Claw!

                        Go Bears!

                        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Even though that bear looks pretty scary, I've got a feeling the UofUtah will be okay in this one. I've learned to trust those feelings

To get some excitment going for this game, the UofUtah should have a poster contest. My entry would be:

SPEAR THE BEARS!!!! with a picture of a Ute spearing a bear.

Correct. This game can only raise questions, not answer them.

You've now officially spent more time thinking and preparing for this game than any Ute fan and probably most of the Utah football program.
