I hope you love your visit to the Buckeye state. I really, really do. Toledo is only two hours from Dayton if you want to really treat yourself. I usually go to BYU games in Logan but this year I'm skipping due to weather and game time.
Pay extra for Stubhub tickets for chair seats in the west stands. The east stands are basically concrete bleachers built into the side of the hill. There is zero leg room and zero concessions over there and it's a massive human traffic jam trying to get in and out.
Aggie fans are generally OK. The worst of the Dairy-Utes try outdo the Utes in vulgarity and boorishness but those morons are fewer as a percentage of the overall fan base.Comment

Maybe I shouldn't be, but I'm surprised how few tickets are available from USU's ticket office. Only single-seat options remain for the west side chairs. I can currently get west side south section (no chairs) through the ticket office for about a fourth of the price of Stubhub west side chair seats (since one of the tickets qualifies for their "youth" pricing). If we end up making the trip (not sure we'll be able to yet), I'll probably just get the non-chair seats for cheap and see if I can upgrade if someone is selling at/near the stadium.Originally posted by BigFatMeanie View Post

Thanks for the encouragement and advise. I ended up going with all three of our kids. Just got home and got them in bed. Bought seats on the east side but ended up sitting in chairs on the west side.
