He'll be sitting with Niku, no doubt.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I technically can't post in this thread about that game since it's not a road trip. But I'll be there wearing blue and yelling "cougar bait" at all the LSU fans :byu1:

OK, I've decided to pull the trigger on Hawaii as well. Would you believe this will be my first trip to Hawaii? We've planned other trips there, but something always seemed to come up. I've already booked flights (points of course) and springing for ocean front deluxe rooms at the Hale Koa at Waikiki.

Also, I booked a rental car for a week using Autoslash. Original booking was $226, now down about $20.

I'll be interested in your thoughts on the Hale Koa.

Got airplane tickets to Houston on Friday. Question for those of you who are familiar with the city (I have never been there). I'll be there from Friday to Monday with my daughter, so a little time to have some fun outside of the game. Is there anything in downtown Houston? Would it be a nice place to stay? Or would I be better off out on a beach somewhere? If the beach, would Galveston be best? Somewhere else?

Don't stay downtown. The Galleria area would be better. Galveston also has some nice hotels/resorts and probably has more to do with the beach, Moody Gardens, Schliterbahn, etc. NASA also isn't too far from Galveston.

The one advantage of staying downtown is you can take the light rail to the stadium. If the stros are in town, I like Minute Maid park.

Houston is not a great vacation spot. If it were me, I'd stay in Galveston and hang out at the beach, Pleasure Pier, and Moody Gardens. NASA is also not far.

Galleria has great high end stores, but nothing else. Pretty quick uber ride to the stadium.

Galleria and midtown have the best restaurants.

I'm going to LSU with the Cougar Club and the whole family.
I'm going to Mississippi St. with my 10 year old. I have tickets but no flights, hotel, car etc. I could use advice on this one.
I'm going to Hawaii with the whole family. We are staying at Turtle Bay and going early to avoid Thanksgiving at home. Planning to do PCC and lay on the beach. Any recommendations for Thanksgiving Polynesian style?
