Here are starters or potential starters for the 2012 season:

    Nelson - 2 stars
    Alisa - 2 stars
    Hoffman - 2 stars
    Hadley - 2 stars
    Pritchard - 2 stars
    Preston Hadley - 2 stars
    Braden Brown - 2 stars
    Manumaleuna - 2 stars
    Ogletree - 2 stars
    Dulan - 2 stars
    Braden Hansen - 2 stars
    Fuga - 2 stars
    Stephenson - 2 stars
    Hague - 2 stars
    Sampson - 2 stars

    • I actually like a lot of these guys we're getting. I'm hopeful we'll start having strong lines on both sides of the ball.

There's plenty of talent at the skill positions.
Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

I made no statement about how to interpret those comments just that they weren't highly recruited. I think that list speaks to Bronco's ability to find good players where others haven't or more to the point develop athletes into better football players.

Instead of stars, I like to look at offers. I added all the offers for these guys from big conferences. Pretty pathetic.

One could also interpret this as a perspective on what we should expect in 2012.

the guys we're getting now seem to be getting offers from PAC12 schools and Boise and others though.

                • I don’t know how this recruiting class compares to those in the past. I have a feeling it isn’t better or worse. Fans may complain that these classes are littered with only 2 and 3 star recruits but I think that they are commensurate with what you would expect given the performance and accomplishments of the team on the field. However, I’m optimistic that the coaching staff is genuinely trying to take the program to the next step. The heavy recruitment of Polynesian players this year (important not only for filling holes on the team but also laying the foundation for future recruiting prospects) and the use of a professional strength and conditioning consultant (API, if I remember the rumor correctly) on campus designing a program for the football team I think is evidence of this.

I am very curious to see what Doman has in store for the offense schematically.

                  • Green, a 6-foot-2, 196-pound rising senior, plays for the non-denominational King's School in the Seattle area.
He received a scholarship offer last week after attending a BYU padded camp and is a product of the Barton quarterback camp that also helped the development of former Seattle-area BYU QB Jake Heaps, now at Kansas.

As a junior, Green threw for 2,297 yards and 38 touchdowns last fall.
BYU was the first Division I program to offer him a scholarship. He was receiving interest from Arizona, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State and Utah.

                    • No idea where King's HS is. Gonna have to go watch him play this fall.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I wouldn't have known that either. What classification?

According to the wiki page it's a tiny non-denominational Christian school that plays 1A.
