    I wish Nebraska were in the Big 12 with Texas A&M, Missouri, and BYU. Happy that Colorado departed. But since that didn't happen, I don't want Nebraska back in the Big 12 without Missouri and Texas A&M. Besides, its not the Big 12 anymore, its the SWC II. I'm optimistic about Nebraska-Wisconsin and Nebraska-Iowa. Sadly, OU-Nebraska died around 1996.

    Edit: Having slept on this, decided I need to revise:
    I wish Nebraska were back in the Big 8.

                            You got me there. My prayers for an Urb meteor are well documented in this thread. I am keeping the faith.

                            But other than a fiery death for UM, I don't give a crap about the comings and goings of Ohio State football. Or Nebraska.

                                                            They will get some practice with thread names when BYU and Nebraska open the season in 2015.

                                                            I care about Ohio St. because the Buckeyes are a historic football power and are playing very well under UM. I also care about USC and wonder how the Trojans will fare under Sark. For similar reasons I care about OU, Alabama, FSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Texas, and a host of other programs becasue they are part of college football.

                                                            Lebowski used the word "provincialism" and I think that word is very fitting. I'm reminded of my college days in Provo when the #1 and #2 teams would be playing. The winner would be scheduled to face another undefeated team in a bowl game for the national championship. This game with the top two teams in the country was a big deal on a national scale. And it got bumped on Utah TV for 7-3 BYU against 5-6 Utah. Perhaps some things are slow to change.

                                                            BYU has Michigan on its 2015 schedule in addition to Nebraska. And this after playing Wisconsin in 2013. Perhaps Cougar Nation will wake up now that they are scheduling more national games as opposed to regional games and finally decide to "give a crap" about the happenings in the Big 10 and college football.
