Reminds me when a missionary came home after being out for 4 months. His parents told everyone that there was one missionary that did something he shouldn't (can't remember what but it wasn't chastity related) but all 6 in the district were sent home. I'm guessing that's what the missionary told his parents and apparently they believed him."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Not only does he get the shame of coming home for a ridiculous reason, but then folks like you get to judge him. Thanks Missionary Department."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Really? Can you give me a verifiable example, or do you have some anecdote where that line was fed to you and you believed it?Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostIt happens.

This is a more extreme example, but a companionship was sent home from my mission because one of them was getting busy with a single member lady while his comp was in the other room hanging out with the rest of the family. The comp didn't commit any serious sin but probably had an idea what the other elder was doing and didn't stop him. So they were both sent home.Originally posted by imanihonjin View PostReally? Plastic bottle? Meh...Originally posted by dabrockster View PostJL: You prayers will not be answered. I suggest praying that someone hits him with a plastic bottle at an away game.. That is more likely to happen. And equally enjoyable for you, DD, YO, etc. al..

No shame in losing to Clemson. FSU only beat them by about 50.Originally posted by YOhio View PostFTR, I don't want a meteor to hit Urban Meyer. I like the status quo of him making Buckeye fans think the team is good only to have them devastated when they lose to teams like Michigan State and Clemson.I'm like LeBron James.

i'm sure Urb has recruited some killers, but I agree on the defense.Originally posted by dabrockster View PostYO: Interesting. I did not see many devastated fans during those two weeks thereafter. I didn't even lose any sleep over it. But I felt like they were going to lose sometime.. Just didn't seem to have the killer defense needed..Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Nice article on a few of the guys Urban was able to grab. Most notably is Raekwon McMillan. Top Linebacker in the nation. He brought in 4 linebackers in all They are the following (Look to see all of them playing next year if not starting):
Raekwon McMillan - 5 Star
Kyle Berger - 4 Star
Dante Booker - 4 Star
Sam Hubbard - 3 Star

Is there anyone other than yourself on this site that actually cares about Ohio St. football? Better question, is there anyone on this site other than Dabster that doesn't despise Ohio St. football?Originally posted by dabrockster View PostNice article on a few of the guys Urban was able to grab.
