(I get the sense that you would rather I not update the Urb Tracker anymore).
I appreciate the updates. Thank you for your work on the Urb Tracker.

Friday Night Lights at The Shoe begins July 27th.. It will be open to the public for free..

This will be fun and will be interesting to see how many fans show up. I think we could easily see over 60,000 people there and wouldn't be surprised if we top out close to 90,000..

Under the lights? Player reviews Coombs? Stock dropped? All that and more in the Friday Boarding House ...

For those who may want to attend a Big 1G Championship game.. They have come up with a pretty cool system..

The Big Ten is switching to a ticket reservation system for the league football championship game that will allow fans to reserve tickets without fear of getting stuck in case their favorite team doesn’t make it.

The system, developed in partnership with Forward Market Media and the Big Ten Network, will allow fans to purchase “TeamTix” for as little as $10. If the fan’s specified team makes the title game, he or she is guaranteed a ticket at face value. If the buyer’s team doesn’t make it, the “TeamTix” expires and he or she loses only the reservation fee.

Reservations for up to eight tickets can be ordered at BTN.com/TeamTix beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, when tickets to the Dec. 1 game in Indianapolis go on sale to the general public.

A good system. Although Wisconsin fans should feel pretty good about just buying their tickets (tOSU and PSU are banned which leaves Wisconsin to "edge out" Illinois, Purdue, and Indiana in the Leaders Division).

                  Fall camp has begun..

[ame="http://espn.go.com/blog/colleges/osu/post?id=1535"]Training day: First session done for Bucks - OSU Buckeyes Blog - ESPN[/ame]

In a ceremony held during Thursday’s Champions Club dinner, Ohio State strength coordinator Mickey Marotti handed the Buckeyes back to their head coach.

It would seem like a chance for OSU players to exhale after a long, rugged summer of conditioning under Marotti, who has been known to push his players to the limit of their own exhaustion.

Instead, the returning players from last year’s 6-7 team hit the practice field this morning at 6 a.m. for the first fall practice under first-year head coach Urban Meyer. While the players are excited to get back to football, this promises to be one of the most demanding fall camps they will ever experience.

“It's going to be a really, really hard training camp,” Meyer said last week in Chicago.

“It's just going to be a hard, physical camp. I think they expect it.”

No, seriously, maybe we could have a dedicated thread for each team out there. It'll be like a whole website dedicated to comprehensive discussion of sports.

Just a reminder to anyone wondering about Ohio State's bowl chances this season. They're banned on account of their cheating. It happened last December so some may have forgotten.

Also, time to update the Urb Tracker.

After almost a month of relative calm, RB Bri'onte Dunn was charged for drug possession two weeks ago.

Freshman Bri'onte Dunn was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop Saturday night in Alliance, Ohio. According to police, Dunn nearly hit a patrol car before he was pulled over. Then officers allegedly found a pipe and small amounts of marijuana in the car. Dunn received a citation and was not taken to jail.
                                New totals:
                                3 player dismissals
                                5 player arrests
                                40+ secondary recruiting violations
1 sex offender unofficially involved with recruiting.
