That would be...interesting. Certainly they are in need of a QB. Certainly Spurrier has a record with QBs. But who has South Carolina turned out lately? Or ever? Florida Spurrier had Danny Wuerffel or however you spell that and others, but that was a while ago. Am I forgetting somebody?

Wow. If that turned out to be correct, who could blame him?

It isn't difficult to find out where he is going. Look at schools that have a senior QB next year and/or a junior QB next year that is expected to declare for the draft. Look at the backups and see if there is anyone in the wings ready to start the in 2013. Of those schools look at the profile of the university and if there is a QB guru on the staff. Using this criteria, he ends up at Cal. USC sounds crazy right now, unless Barkley is coming back. I don't know South Carolina's situation enough to know if they fit the requirements.

Is this an O'Neil Chambers wish list or is this list accurate from the team's perspective?

I'll say it right now: If he goes to South Carolina, he fails. Miserably. Too much speed in the SEC (not that the PAC-12 is a picnic). If I'm him, I go to a Big 12 School where I get to face a bunch of cornfed, thick-ankled LBs and DBs who he may have a chance to run from.

I'd expect he'd go where there is a larger LDS presence, which makes me think more UCLA, USC (trojans not Gamecocks) or Boise.

It's an "I don't really know what the hell I'm talking about" list.

The list comes from Heaps personal mentor/coach. This is the same guy that leaked the story to that Seattle beat writer this morning at Jake's request. According to Harmon, this guy has been contacting teams to gauge interest in Jake. So there's a good chance these are teams in which there is mutual interest.

Now that he's married, what's that matter?

I understand that but I guess I don't view his mentor's comment as "mutual interest." Obviously teams can't comment on potential recruits/transfers but I remain unconvinced that these names weren't just tossed out based on current QB situations and their prominence at the the QB position. I could be wrong and probably am.

He'll probably go somewhere where the coaches can develop NFL talent.

That would be pretty stupid and short-sighted. Which means it could be true.
