2012 BYU Football Season

I live for this to happen. For too long I've enviously gazed at those Legacy seats and thought, "those priveledged kids don't deserve their grandfather's tickets." Now that I'm in a position to buy better seats and use them, bring on the cancellations.

BYU will rise again.

I think you are looking at Donor seats and not Legacy seats. Donors have a nice advantage. They can skip a year and not buy their tickets and get them back the following year.

Legacy folks don't have that privilege, although if they keep their Legacy membership they can buy good seats the next year, but not guaranteed the ones they had.

I have access to 8 tickets total now....4 donors on the West side and 4 Legacies on the East side right in the stem of the Y. And I have no plans to buy either this coming season.

Why does everyone forget that schools schedule non-conf games 3-5 years into the future? BYU's independence cant magically free up games with decent schools. A better indication of the schedule would be the 2014-5 schedule. But you keep thinking that BYU will be playing the Idahos of the world for the next 10 years.

Nobody forgets it. But they have to make a real decision about their real money for the upcoming season. And since the schedule sucks this upcoming season and it sucked last season, renewals are down. It literally costs thousands of dollars for those Legacy seats. I don't blame people for sitting some of these pathetic seasons out.

At the very least you can give them away to clients or something.

Now that i think about it, I think I passed last season on the Donors, so this year is my year to move them or lose them. Ugh.

You should donate the to a group like Boys & Girls club. They get used and you get a write off.
