2012 BYU Football Season

I'm not quite sure where to put my expectations for this team this year. Camp not going great but maybe that's a good thing. I'm kind of sick of all the usual rosey nonsense that comes out of fall camp down there.

Until I have reason to believe otherwise, I am reserved to be content with an 8-4 season. Its all I can do to keep zen. I hope the team is truly hungry though. Stuff like this should be posted all over the locker room:

It's a breeze (easiest stretch): Aug. 30 through Sept. 15 – Northern Colorado, at Utah State, BYU.
If there were issues with Utah's offensive confidence coming into the season, games against the Bears, the Aggies and the Cougars should provide a big boost. Utah crushed BYU 54-10 last season. BYU beat Utah State. Northern Colorado went 0-11 in the Big Sky Conference. 'Nuff said.

Anybody who takes last years game as a good barometer of what will happen this year is unfamiliar with both the rivalry and with what happened in that game.

I'd bet the author of that article, Craig Morgan, is quite unfamiliar with both what happened in that game and the rivalry.

I also doubt he represents the views of the Utah coaching staff or players.
