http://byu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1391849Other key notes during day one of fall camp:
Alex Kuresa was moved to WR. That should tell us of his athleticism.
Max Hall was on the sideline and will be a Student Assistant.
Jordan Johnson looked very good at corner.
Coach Mendenhall openly talking about Taysom Hill and the possibility of him being used in some wildcat plays. Also saying because of his athletic ability if needed could be able to play somewhere else. To me this is a little telling because it is the first day of practice. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Yes.Originally posted by falafel View PostThat didn't take long. Did he RS last year?
Someone else can maybe verify, but I do believe the plan was to keep him at QB if he had gone on a mission after his RS season as originally planned. But since he is still here and would be behind 5 other QBs, no sense in keeping him at QB. Not growing any didn't help his cause either.

I can't tell if he's saying it because it's something they'd actually consider, or just making an illustrative point about his athleticism. I lean toward the latter.Originally posted by USU Coug View PostIs this a way for BM to ensure Hill gets playing time without having to take Lark out of the 2nd string position? So Russell...what do you love about music? Marcus Matthews stood out among TE candidates, a group that appears healthy for first time in 16 months. Closest athlete to a Pitta.Got first look at freshman RB Jamaal Williams. Passes the eye test. Fast, agile, explosive and can catch.Hype! No doubt about it, Jordan Johnson best cover corner in BYU?s program. Yeah, it is Day One. Easy call. No brainer. Impressive kid.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Sounds like a lot of vague, relative comparisons.

I'm glad the Williams kid passed his eye test. Seems risky to bring a kid in when you're uncertain about his eyesight.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostHype!Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
