Do you think Apo will be back?

Apo and Heaps don't hang like they used to. Especially now that Heaps is married.

Apo, O'neill Chambers and Cody Hoffman all hang out. I can't see anything for Apo to complain about.

He has 35 catches for 453 yards and 9tds as a freshman. On top of that BYU has put in several plays just for his skill set (like that WR screen that he has 3tds on so far this year).

Now if he had a QB that wouldn't underthrow him on every play his numbers could be much better. On the flip side if he had a QB that wouldn't over throw him I can think of at least 2 more tds and about 200 more receiving yards.

Heaps threw the ball too hard. Nelson threw the ball too soft. Hill threw the ball just right...and he's still here!!!

I'm right with you. I can see a win over WSU and I can see us snagging the GT game as that has been Bronco's MO, but @ND, @Utah, and @BSU are not going to happen, imo.

6-6 is the bottom for me though. I can't find another loss.

I agree, a Nelson injury is a matter of when not if. If Hill doesn't beat out Larks, or at least clearly outperform him, in fall camp I'm going to be really depressed.

Not so hard. Essentially he becomes a JC receiver but with the added benefit of one year in a system to learn.

If he thinks he's not going to be utilized well, he'd be wise, perhaps, to swallow the year of lost eligibility and transfer to a school that has a hot young QB. Like Washington State, for instance.

Or, he could drop a division and play 3 years at a school like Montana.

You watch. WSU has some talent. Now they have a Coach that can maximize that talent. you think 7-5 is grim, wait till 2013.

Yep. Mike Leach is a good coach, and they have a talented QB in Jeff Tuel (Holiday ready to go as well if needed).

I think BYU can pull off a win against Boise State at least for next season. Their Outland Trophy finalist offensive tackle is supposed to go fairly high on the board in the NFL for OL position. Their RB is going to be gone to the NFL in the draft somewhere from what projections have said, Kellen Moore is gone. I think Boise State will struggle a little bit next season (9-3 season most likely).

Yeah, you're probably right, I don't see the new MWC additions (Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada) really proving a challenge. Boise State will lose to Michigan State, and either Southern Miss or BYU.
