Really just one thing, BYU. Even on tape none of these guys is going to face more than a misdeamenor. Nobody was injured. A suspension and honor code probation seems reasonable, but out of school.

As far as the sarcasm, the point I was making is that fighting likely seems like a bigger deal to someone that has never been involved in one. It doesn't make me tougher or better, I just don't think college age guys shoving, wrestling and throwing a few punches is a hanging offense. I am a grown up now and don't promote fighting, but this has been blown way out of proportion.

What sort of conviction is going to result from this fight? Charges are one thing, but in the end, without prior criminal record, these kids are going to get nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

We know that the honor code office began a review for Stout and Sampson, and the the review will now not go forward because they withdrew. The honor code office also said that that no other reviews were started besides those for Stout and Sampson.

I think if this was first offense for either of them, you are right. But since both have been past knuckleheads, they are off the team.

I watched Isaiah Mangale sucker punch a guy and leaving him bleeding and unconscious at midcourt. Those 3 brothers were thugs, they'd show up and intimidate and hurt people just for kicks.
