As good as they looked against BYU and during the 4 games win streak is how bad they looked today.
Col. Klink: "Staff officers are so clever."
Gen. Burkhalter: "Klink, I am a staff officer."
Col. Klink: "I didn't mean you sir, you're not clever."

GET OUT OF OUR THREAD! I'LL FREAKING KILL YOU.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Which coach in the Pac-12 lost their starting QB and was 3 missed FGs away from the Pac-12 championship game?

Whitt is a solid coach, but I'd definitely put Chip Kelly above him at this point, and probably Kiffin too (although I'm not sure how well Kiffin fares with Jon Hays as his QB). No complaints about Whitt though. Utes are lucky to have him.

lol. That is big of you to put him above Chip Kelly "at this point."

My bad. Chip Kelly is a better coach and will be for the rest of eternity. If he was at Utah they would have the same athletes as Oregon and he would have them in the Rose Bowl every year. Whit is McBride II. He has been an abject failure at Utah. Chris Hill should think about replacing him.

Also, Les Miles is the greatest coach in the country. Just a football genius.

                      Is that better?

It seems like you are being extreme now.

Comparing coaches is pretty silly. I'd take Bill Synder over anyone.

Yes, because one game requires a reevaluation of a coach's entire career.

Is coach of the year a lifetime award?

To a certain degree, yes. It is all about expectations vs results.
