    Because Bronco's full of shit?

    • For those who care about such things, Riley finishes with a turbl 109.8 PER. It's a shame Heaps and his superior 111.0 PER weren't available for this one.

HA!! Very Jim MacMahonesque to override your coach like that.....

Edit: before you all go off in a tizzy. I'm talking about the cockyness to give the finger to the coach and make your own play..

            • Another amazingly exciting bowl win to add to the list. Whatever else might be said about the Cougars, they are "Exciting Bowl Win U." Congrats, enjoy the win and savor the 10-win season until the wars begin next fall.

              • Ha!!! What a finish.

Man, I can't believe how blatantly Tulsa was delaying the game there at the end. Should have been a flag. Karma, baby.

                Game ball awards:

KVN: Singlehandedly put Tulsa out of easy field goal position. Made play after play.

Falslev: Did he make any mistakes? Terrific job on punt returns.

Riley Stephensen: Best punting performance all year.

                Cody Hoffman: Money.

Tone Loc: Never lost faith in Riley. Very insightful comparison to Tim Tebow.

No doubt, Nelson won this game for us and Heaps wouldnt have been able to. The coaching staff is vindicated again!

Why does it matter? BYU scored on the play and won the game. The only thing that matters is that it worked.

                    • Defense played well, aside from Eason and Uale.

                      Special teams played great.

O line is fat, out of shape, and really struggled against a fast-ish, more athletic Tulsa front line. Tulsa's LBs played well in space, limiting Riley's running. We need a feature back in the worst way.

Riley is who we thought he was, but he gutted out a win I guess. In his defense, he was pressured and hit all game long. Someone get that O line a salad, and maybe they'll be be able to block for a mobile QB better.

I wasnt saying it did, I was just making an observation about the play.

Great play by Riley either way. Or by hoffman firing off the line and not having a guy within 5 yards of him, or by the oline for blocking really well considering they all thought he was going to spike it.

Nice job all the way around!

What would it have been if defenders didn't drop 4 additional ints?

I am concerned about the OL next year. If Doman wants to go to a running spread, as Harmon's article indicated, he needs to make sure the S&C team understands what that means. Those corpulent follows up front will need to lose a great deal of weight. They should have anyway, of course, as they're not fit to block in any offense right now.

Agreed. Riley will get credit for the last drive, but Van Noy's two plays to kill a deep Tulsa drive in the 3rd quarter arguably saved the game. If Tulsa scores there, we might have been done.

You asked a question about the play and you continue to make sarcastic comments in order to make your opinion known. But no, it doesn't matter to you. Not a chance.
