LA-Mon and New Mex are 2 of the worst offensive teams in the country (117 and 120). .

TCU isn't THAT good. I think they are probably better than BYU. Especially in Texas, but I would take that bet if I didn't forbid myself from betting BYU games.

Given that I am watching these games on TV and since I don't get coaches film that allows me to see the whole field, I can only assume that there are other routes on each play. Some of of these routes probably make use of the middle of the field which Heaps seems to be ignoring. I don't think BYU goes max protection often so this only makes some logical sense. The people that are at the game would have a better opinion of this, but without coaches film it is still difficult to say unless you are clearly watching for it when the play is live.
