My hair was about that long while I was at BYU. The only time I ever had any issues was during intramurals. Every once in a while, an HC student nazi would get mad at me and not let me play in a volleyball or softball game. Very silly.

Never had a problem in class or testing center.

intramurals has long considered themselves one of the last bastions of honor code enforcement - the thin blue line that separates BYU from the anarchy of secular schools.

After watching furious monkey's highlight vid, it reminded me of one o the things I liked most about Riley's performance--pumpfakes. Since you cant see the recivers in the screen, i assume he was able to force S or LB to bite (seemed like receivers were more open for RN than Jake).

I can't believe Im saying this, but I think I'd be fine with RN starting going forward.

So tonight on KSL sports they did a bit on Riley and the long hair he was sporting last week. They said that he got a haircut and they interviewed him and he publicly apologized for disrespecting the program and university with his long hair last Friday.

I bet Bronco made him apologize.

This kind of stuff drives me nuts. Even to the point that I think the "attitude" it exhibits is one of the problems with the team. I mean don't these kids have enough to worry about without worrying they may have been heard farting in public and bringing disgrace on the University.

Classic post-mullett hairstyle: don't cut the back, just grow top, sides, and front longer. I had that exact style in my 20's at BYU. I never got crap for it.

I had hair as long or longer than Riley's vs USU for much of my post mission BYU career. Never had a problem at the testing center. Not at intramurals either because I wore a headband to keep it under control. The only person who ever mentioned anything to me was a Bishop when I was reupping my endorsement for graduate school.
