2 things: My affection for Lee Corso is fading every week. I want to like him! Make him retire already!

Also, it kills me that Sammy Watkins is tearing it up so hard at Clemson. Urban Meyer just called him one of the most dynamic true freshmen in years. He was committed to Michigan for a while.

Kentucky's rush defense not looking bad right now. LSU's offense is very predictable so far - rush on first, PA on second. But they are knocking at the door right now. Predictable is okay when you have talent.

Also, I would kill to have LSU's fifth string running back on BYU's team right now.

Michigan has suddenly busted out a diamond formation with Gardner at QB and Denard one of the split backs. They're running some crazy sandlot stuff out of it too. Might as well go nuts when you've got 223 yards in the 1st quarter.

I think that pro-style Brady Hoke offense went out the window in teh 2nd half against NOtre Dame. THey decided to draw some shit up in the dirt and see what happens. So far, so good.

Yeah, this is the first game they've thrown it out completely, but it's been headed that way since the first game. The OL is extremely good at zone blocking, like once-a-decade good, so it doesn't make sense to call a bunch of power, nor does it make sense to have Denard effing Robinson stand like a statue and throw downfield (thus the 48% completions). This game, Denard is 10/10 passing because the playcalling has been spectacularly tailored to his strengths. I love it.

Of course this is all tempered by Minny being a tire fire on both sides of the ball this year, but still.
