You mean you don't want to go see the coronation of Riley Nelson against one of the worst teams in CFB?

Don't put words in my mouth. I am one who "hopes" Heaps can be rehabilitated. However, I am not in your seemingly he is "just fine" camp.

He didn't work his butt off and took things for granted and is paying the price. I have no problem with a lot of fans being very down on him.

I wouldn't be going if he was announced as the starter either.

I hope Heaps is the future too. I just think he may be in over his head at this point.

Come to the game. Leave early to escape traffic and we can do dinner or something. I owe you dinner for babysitting my golf shoes.

You owe me nothing and you are one person I would love doing dinner with, however even that opportunity isn't getting me to the game. I have six tickets to TCU, who knows maybe we can hook up there if I can't get rid of them.

What if I sweetened the pot by bringing a girl who Goatnapper would drool over?

Why, you think I would have a chance of being the one who goes home with her instead of you?

I'll pick her up in my old Saab. You drive her home in your sweetest ride. You win!

you guys really need to expunge this term from your vocab, especially if you insist on using it in this way.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

We are old school. BYU71 still uses the word, "gay" to describe happiness.

Who knows if true, but on CB they are saying Riley got a hair cut. If we find he did, he is the starter.

Who is responsible to worry about the hair cut on the starting QB at BYU. Is that the coaching staff or does that call come from higher up.

might be a misprint but the Salt Lake Tribune has the BYU vs SJSU game on ESPN2 was there a change?

I am on record as saying I support Riley starting this game. While I agree that teams can now plan for him and his rushing will be less effective, the team responded to him. His upside is not high but he is not putrid - a word I've used to describe Heaps many times this season.

I am open to the possibility that Heaps starts and goes bonkers. Crappy team, and he just got served with notice that they will sit his ass down if he sucks. Maybe that will inspire him too.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

I will be shocked if Heaps starts. It seems pretty clear that Doman wants Riley and I think the majority of fans support Riley starting. Something behind the scenes would have to be going on for Jake to start.

If Riley gets hurt, which I hope doesn't happen, you might see Jake. My guess right now is if Riley takes the field as the starter Saturday, you can kiss the thought of Heaps ever becoming a "big time" QB for BYU good bye.
