Didn't it take all of about 30 minutes to raise the money for the BYU football facilities? I remember thinking at the time the actual time period was ridiculously short.

BYU is not hurting when it comes to getting money for their sports programs.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostDidn't it take all of about 30 minutes to raise the money for the BYU football facilities? I remember thinking at the time the actual time period was ridiculously short.

Didn't you see what I had to offer? I clearly stated that it was great that Utah was getting all that awesome money that comes with being a PAC 12 school even though their football program sucks. Yes, it does hurt that BYU lost to such a bad program.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostDo you ever offer any valuable discussion or do you just bring awful rivalry smack? Are we calling Cox a bust at this point? That seems like an early call on election night with only 1% of districts reporting.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHe is part of the bust list.
Robles, Tyler Shreve, Brandon Cox, and most likely Conor Manning.
Ute fans think Donovan Isom will be something special, chances are he won't be developed under the current staff.
The QB stuff has been head scratching. How Norm Chow, who has coached a lot of good QBs looked at John Hayes and said: "Yeah, this guy can play." Is a mystery."They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.
Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Not that BYU is clean (this offseason seems to reflect that) but I sure hope that at no point in the future the distinction between BYU and <insert suspect Big 5 team> is neglible in terms of behind the scenes influence. Football results I can live with but not at the cost of everything else.Originally posted by Hot Lunch View PostBYU is not hurting when it comes to getting money for their sports programs.
Damn that sounds arrogant (and I'm not even active).

Well Spurrier mentioned that South Carolina had a single $1 million dollar donor when he arrived and now they are in the top half of the SEC with 12-13. I know BYU has more than that, which lead me to my conclusion that BYU has more million dollar donors than most of the SEC.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostI wish I had your vast knowledge to know all the 1 million donors for all the schools in college football. That's good to hear that the funds for football for BYU are coming from rich Mormons instead of the church.

Where does Cox currently sit on the depth chart? And look who is in front of him. The reports out of camp are not good. I hope he likes to hit, safety is in his future.Originally posted by DrumNFeather View PostAre we calling Cox a bust at this point? And you are pulling out guys that I have never heard or thought of on the Utah roster. Which is why I have my rule about JC guys. 1 out of 4.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostSigned,
