Wow. Still can't believe we pulled that off. Very gutsy come back win.

Our offense needs lots of work but our defense was terrific.

Hopefully, this is a wake-up call for the offense. Ole Miss is not a great team. They play this way next week and we'll lose to Texas.

Doman needs to tighten things up and get some of the defense's passion and intensity.

Who has a 1st half vs. 2nd half numbers comparison for jake? I feel like we saw first half of freshman year and 2nd half of freshman year in the same game. Other than the pick (which was aninexperience play by him and an experience play by the safety), he was very good in that second half.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

In case you didn't notice, we had some back luck too. Like a missed short FG and a 97-yard pick six.

I felt like he came alive midway through the third. I think Heaps will be fine.

I didn't mind the situational Nelson stuff.

I thought Heaps did pretty well. He tossed the pick, but other than that he moved the ball well.

Offense usually takes longer to get dialed in than defense.

I think BYU's defense played well, but you have to give some of the credit to Ole' Miss, cause they suck at offense.

True, but the timing of the luck was more fortuitous for BYU. A fumble recovery for a TD in the last few minutes to get the winning score is more lucky than a pick 6 in the first half. And was the missed FG really bad luck or just a lousy attempt?

The defense looked good and despite the offense struggling, it did enough to get that first TD. I think that was bigger than the defensive TD because it put BYU into position where it only needed a TD to get the win.
I wouldn't call it luck. Ole Miss made some crappy decisions/plays and BYU capitalized on it. BYU made some crappy decisions/plays and Ole Miss capitalized on it. They were lucky our offense apparently did zero tackling drills in camp.

I do feel fortunate though to escape with a win. Okay, maybe we were a little lucky.

So, why was Bronco wearing a t-shirt? Was it due to the weather?

Congrats on the win. I think it is safe to say that Utah isnt the only team in the state with concerns on offense. Byus defense is very good

He's worn it ever since he took over the D last year. It's working.

The pass was lobbed because Van Noy put pressure on the QB. Any lower and it's batted/picked.

                              1-0. Good enough.

Agreed. The game in 2 weeks may be an old-fashioned defensive battle. My favorite kind of games.
