btw, am I the only who didnt think it was offensive but that didnt really find it funny? I didn't laugh at all. In other words, had I been there I probably would have thought absolutely nothing of the exchange.

Awkward sense of humor is probably more accurate than being a dick.

Maybe I read him wrong. Maybe he's just so socially awkward that he comes off dickish when he doesn't mean to be.

We all have friends who are how I "perceive" Bronco to be. I don't know him well, so this just comes from observation.

I am thinking of a friend, very good friend I have. He does charitable things for people no one knows about. He would bail me out of a tough situation anytime if I asked. Active in the church. Just a great guy.

However, a lot of people who just know him by seeing him interact with people, except for his clients, think he is an arrogant, condescending, A-hole. I see how they think that.

And yes DDD, very much type A.

Same. Not really funny. Not offensive. Why would anyone pipe up with that anyway even if it was correct?

Why was Bronco reading from a script if he knew the information so well? He's such a phony.

So you would have the height and weight memorized for all 15 of your recruits?

This combined with his flacid scrotum comment this week make me ill.

CJ does. I see no reason why Bronco shouldn't.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Here is why. Some people go there who have kicked in a lot of bucks. They eat food sitting at tables talking about the team, recruits, etc. They have read the sports boards, probably TBS and think they are part of it all.

In that setting they don't see Bronco as God, they see him as the BYU football coach and a friend. Maybe some old guy slips and blurts something out. He gets put in his place in a hurry. It is a privliege for him to shell out money and NO he isn't pals with the hierarchy and it is good for him to be reminded of that now and then.

No, it wasn't me. I don't go to those anymore. After my divorce I stay away from situations where I might get lectured to.
