A lot of schools do it. Carolina, which has as many students as BYU, charged $60 a semester when I was there. About $50 of that went straight to athletics with the other thing going to fund other activities and groups on campus. I'm sure that has increased since I finished.Originally posted by camleish View Postgood point. that does seem to be an optimal model.Dio perdona tante cose per un’opera di misericordia

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

Help me understand. I know they rotate the students around the stadium, but I thought that meant they were just rotating them around different student-dedicated sections. Is that not the case? My co-ed said she was always seated among students.
Anyway, it sounds like back to the future. Back in the old days we had a dedicated student section with the best seats in the east stands.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The University of Michigan does it and they charge Students for Football and Hockey games ($24 a game for football, not sure on the amount for Hockey).Originally posted by pellegrino View PostA lot of schools do it. Not to mention when they built Crisler Arena (where they play basketball) they amortized the cost and added a student fee of like $5 per student per semester (the amortization was done in 1998)."Be a philosopher.
