The relevance to what? To Utah's 2011 football team?

Well, the season starts with the Spring Game.

    And it is almost Spring.

Either I wasn't clear or you misunderstood.

I will emphatically state that I was NOT at BYU's spring game last year or any other year. I have only stepped foot in that stadium. 3 times. Once for a Stadium of Fire back in the 80's and twice for the Utah/BYU game.

I just saw Portland's post and chimed in about how many were there. Is there really an attendance smack debate going on regarding attendance at the spring game? I thought BYU didn't even have one. (Obviously I haven't bothered to read the thread. Sorry.)

My misunderstanding. You said zoots, I thought you said zoobs.

500 at a spring game? Sounds hard to believe.

Not sure how Utah or BYU run their Spring games, but the SC ones are lots of fun. They open up the peristyle and that entire end of the field and put a Fan Zone for children...bounce houses, games, etc. You can walk on the field, take pics, etc. Lots of fun. Here is a random crowd shot from down on the field at last season's Spring game. Pretty good turnout on both sides of the Coliseum, but not SEC level attendance, that is for sure.

Btw, refusal to go to your rival's stadium is a zoot/zoob move, fyi. Lame. Nothing of which to be proud. Just go to games and support your team, who cares if it is at Cougar Stadium?

Are you kidding? At Utah that earns you a helmet sticker.

It's a joke of course, but being suspended indefinately in February doesn't mean squiddly scrump.

I sat by Cam's parents during his first spring game. They were very nice to converse with. As the game was coming to an end, they went over to look at the fancy East side blue chairs to decide which ones they were going to buy for their season tickets.

Later I met the guy who backed him up at LB in high school. He and Cam are good friends, but he joked about him ("man, I hate that guy!") saying that Cam never got injured and always wanting to play - even in a blow out - so he didn't get a lot of playing time.

Isley Filiaga isn't still on the Utah roster is he? I thought I remembered him quitting the team a while back. Anyway, he turned up on the police blotter too.

He was (allegedly) speeding, without a seatbelt, and had an expired registration.
