And now his lawyer is saying Cecil Newton didn't arrive at the stadium until after the game (despite pictures of him at the stadium before the game):

Yeah, I wonder where he got his ticket and how he paid for it, as well as travel and lodging. Werent those tickets going for several Gs? Auburn already stated that they did not give him tickets.

Cecil just knows that the NCAA has no jurisdiction on him and they won't go through him to punish Cam. Sure he can make a handshake agreement with them and if he breaks it what does he have to pay? Nothing. So he obviously does whatever he wants regardless of the NCAA.

My head is still spinning while trying to reconcile the tOSU and Cam Newton bowl fiasco. Apparently Tressel got the 5 tOSU players to agree to come back to school next year in exchange for letting them play in the bowl game. I wonder how many of them will keep that commitment.

That sounds like a great deal to me. We let you play in this one game, and in return, you have to wait a whole year longer before you start making millions, oh, and you can only play in half of our games next year. Whaddasay?

Does anyone know when Cam Newton is going to announce? He has to do it by tomorrow but I haven't read a single thing about a press conference. I wonder if he does it on the DL and avoids the press altogether.

Meanwhile, the Mouth Breather is set to announce his decision at his HS gym, which basically removes all doubt whether he is coming back.

Auburn will not be repeating next season.

This is pretty incredible. Players admitting that they were routinely given cash by alumni and even the coaching staff.

My guess is that nothing will come of it.

TO be fair, I heard tons of these stories when I went to Bama. It is a really dirty business when winning is almost literally life and death.
