This is the way they called plays for Roethlisburger his rookie year for the Steelers.

Pound the ball, pound the ball, pound the ball, screen pass, pound the ball, quick out, pound the ball, swing pass, pound the ball.

Great timing on the screen there. And this type of play-calling really takes the pressure of the QB.

Agreed. I've liked the wildcat option look, and that screen was a great call. I'm not sure how I feel about the designed heaps draws though.

This is the way you call a game for a rookie QB, especially when your line is playing like this. It's very unlike the gameplan-be-damned-it's-all-execution Anae.
