Some of these kids get brought in and it is a feel good story. Unga also comes to mind. Kid with problems sacrifices in order to attend BYU. BYU turns kids life around. Another warm story for the "BYU experience".

Trouble is kids personalities don't change over night. Sometimes it take patience, lots of it. Anyone ever have a relative that kept trying and slipping, trying and slipping and then he tried and made it.

Well if one of those slips get's into the public and you are at BYU, try again somewhere else, we are interested in only the feel good stories.

It seems like Bronco is really taking a hard ass approach with this kid more than anyone else, and I am not sure why. It would not surprise me to see him get some sort of discipline.

KVN should have played over Frazier after the first quarter you could see that Frazier sucked ass, just like Uale should have came in and played over Thomas.
How bad is Thomas? Good grief. I haven't seen play like that since the Nate Soelberg days. Ever heard of the term "breaking-down" to make a tackle? He has started this season with two terrible games. Time to see what Heaps Uale can do.

I laughed out loud when Thomas fell down after that very mild juke on the edge. Pretty pathetic for a DB tbh.

Very true. Sometimes I think BYU types want everyone to have the fanciful "Sons of Mosiah" experience. You know, they are wicked, see an angel, then become perfect. The problem is, most stories don't go that way. Honestly, I would guess that story didn't go that way either. The BYU Honor Code and the penalties for failing to follow it sicken me.

He isn't athletic is he. Of course, he is a walk-on and an RM so he must be great.

Hey, there have been a couple in the recent past that have played beyond their star rating at the position but the Thomas Clown Affair is not one of them.

Bronco says he's very pleased with KVN's progress and inceasing maturity.

No sign of the Facebook incident.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

The progress must be on the attitude front because on the field he's a complete loss thus far.

KVN posted on FB that he was humbled and ready to put in the work.

Maybe Bronco needs to rewatch the FSU 3rd and 16 draw play in the 4th. I think it was KVN who decided that he had the best seat in the house to watch the tailback gain 20 yards on a play designed to set up better punting position. He wasn't alone however.

What is your over/under on how long his humility lasts?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Well, he's logged exactly zero tackles so far this season (unassisted or otherwise), so at least until he actually gets his mitts on a player rather than consistently missing his assignments, taking the wrong gap, getting owned by a blocker and trying the same lame spin move rushing the QB.

Since I know you are reticent to blast a BYU player giving their best effort,
                                you must really hate KVN.
