I think that excuse only goes so far. Kehl logged almost 100 tackles his senior season, despite the claims that teams ran away from him.

KVN needs to improve his run defense significantly. He's a situational LB. Maybe someone takes a flyer on developing him as a safety in the NFL.
Hey I thought you said you didn't have an unhealthy vendetta against Van Noy.

Please describe the vendetta. Thanks in advance.

You've been going out of your way to lower expectations on the kid and downplaying his huge success since he was a freshman. Somehow even if he is picked in the top 40 you will think your total tackles analysis of him and how flawed he is is right. I remember Kehl distinctly and Van Noy is used much differently.

For one, Kehl was a better run defender at BYU than Van Noy. Van Noy is still an NFL caliber player, but unless he continues to improve (which another year at BYU would help with), he will be a situational player in the NFL.

C'mon, you can't tell me you aren't at least a LITTLE bit worried about his NFL productivity when he only logged one solo tackle in each of the games against Boise State, Oregon State, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame?

He has a tendency to take himself out of plays too often at times. But I think he is a poor man's Von Miller and can start for an NFL team next year or the year after with little problem.

I think all of the attention that Ziggy is getting will benefit KVN quite a bit. He's going to get a lot of looks he likely wouldn't have otherwise and he's going to impress folks with his play and production.

Thanks KVN. You're one of my all-time favorites.
                This is great news.

He doesn't have much tying him to the place outside of football.

Kyle needs to get bigger. Still he's most likely gone.

FTR I got an email from a West Point buddy who took his son to the GT fireside, KVN was wearing an argyle sweater. He should probably get away from Provo for that reason alone.
