When I was officiating high school football, my rated position was Field Judge. Should the game clock fail, I was required to keep time. As such, I had a watch that was designed around the purpose of keeping time in football games. It was the same watch used in the NFL and even had the logo. This watch kept time the exact same way as the official game clock in the Michigan game. It would go 00.09 with less than a second.

They got it right, but I understand the controversy. KWhitt lucked out, but it wasn't nefarious.

              I'm okay with this.

Also, Eric Weddle has been out there trashing on Underwood, which was funny to see.

Random college football thought: Texas A&M won't be able to fake their way into the CFP this year, as they actually have to play some of the good SEC teams this time. Last year Texas was the only SEC team they played from the top half of the conference standings. And well, they lost.

Another thought...the college football selection committee sucks. Absolutely terrible.

has Oklahoma’s QB ever completed a forward pass? That dude is absolute trash.

I really hope this Houston start continues. ESAD tech and your fans.

Side note: the texas tech coaching staff all wearing Texas High School Coaches Association hats is the perfect redneck douche whiney move. The old Big 12 was right about these clowns.

Officials missed a call on that onside kick. The tech player on the hands team intentionally batted the kick out of bounds. Should have been illegal batting and a re-kick. Probably wouldn't have mattered in the end but I think illegal batting is one of the most missed calls.

Best case scenario for BYU is probably both BYU and Tech going undefeated in the regular season and then BYU winning in the championship game. Texas Tech has more cachet than any other potential opponent because of what they did to the conference last year and all the NIL dollars they're spending.

Reluctantly agree but this tech team is clearly several notches below last year's, particularly both lines. They are very beatable.

Very disappointed with the outcome. I hate Texas Tech, and wish nothing but bad fortune upon them and their fans.
