I'll give you the short history. I was a BYU fan growing up and attended there for a couple of years. I didn't enjoy it down there so I ended up at BSU and graduated from there. That is why I'm going to the Fiesta Bowl. The Idaho State interest is only because I live in eastern Idaho.Originally posted by SCcoug View Post
Why is an Idaho state fan going to the Fiesta Bowl?

I feel like they sold it as being better, ESPN would help us get good matchups, etc. It was better in 2013. We bought 10 tickets that year. I just hate having teams like this on the schedule to balance out the 1 and done games. I'd rather we don't play teams like this.Originally posted by LiveCoug View PostHonestly, has the home slate as an independent really been worse than MWC years home schedule? Remember, we had plenty of MWC years with home games against the likes of eastern illinois, northern iowa, etc...Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

RCV, you'll always be a BYU fan to me. Even if you condone your sons' donning of anti-BYU gear. I forgive you.Originally posted by RC Vikings View PostI'll give you the short history. I'm not sure where that comes from because I've always been pro BYU except on BSU vs BYU game day. I don't think he's alone feeling that way, most professors send their kids to Provo and honestly they seem like the kind of kids that don't care about sports. Most everybody else ends up here in Rexburg or going to Logan. I see the kids with BYU-I gear, which is a little strange because of no teams, USU or BSU gear but not much Y gear. I'm sure BYU has lost fan support here in eastern Idaho because of fewer kids ending up in Provo.Originally posted by Donuthole View PostRCV, you'll always be a BYU fan to me.
