Phoenix/Tempe isn't exactly Tucson. It's not as bad as a 2-1. Sure, I would like it better if the neutral game was in, say, Broncos Stadium, but then nobody would show up and there isn't really any other "neutral" football location in either state that could host the game.

Yeah, that would work from a geographic perspective and people like going to Vegas. The biggest problem is that Sam Boyd is a dump, especially compared to UoP Stadium. They ever going to pave that dusty parking lot? Nothing gives game-day that extra-special feel like a dust cloud swirling around a trash-strewn field.

It's a total dump. But if the game is in September or October, the parking lot might still have some grass growing on it!

Arizona has had one good season in the last generation, BYU should be able to get a H-H with them without a "neutral" site game 2 hrs from Tucson. Remember how they did that when BYU was in the awful MWC and didn't have the HD truck and ESPN pulling all kinds of strings for them?
