A little tidbit from Missouri executive associate athletic director Bryan Maggard about the ESPN-BYU scheduling relationship:
http://m.columbiatribune.com/blogs/b...98aadd2ef.htmlESPN works pretty close with BYU with their scheduling, really tries to help them. Dave Brown is their vice president for programming. I felt like we should have had him on a retainer. He and I were talking every single day, and he did a great job trying to make this work. In essence, he's the conduit to all these five different programs. He's so well-connected in college sports. He was making phone calls trying to find schools that could go in and play at Provo next year, things like that. A lot of credit goes to Dave Brown..."I think it was King Benjamin who said 'you sorry ass shitbags who have no skills that the market values also have an obligation to have the attitude that if one day you do in fact win the PowerBall Lottery that you will then impart of your substance to those without.'"

Its a long shot for sure as Tennessee would never travel to Provo in the middle of the SEC season. But these dates could work. UT has a bye October 17. Our opening is October 24 or October 31. We would have to move Cincinnati to one of those dates. That may be doable since the American hasn't set its schedule yet. North Texas plays Tennessee November 14th but they have an open spot on September 5th and could move there to replace the UAB game. That would leave Tennessee with a November bye rather than one in mid-October.Originally posted by SCcoug View PostAny chance (Lloyd Christmas or otherwise) that with UAB dropping football we can pick up Tennessee as our last home game? They were supposed to open versus UAB in the Titan's stadium.

Due to a bad memory and laziness I am asking this question. If you can answer this off the top of your head, great, otherwise I will research it over the weekend.
We have a great away schedule next year. Michigan, Nebraska, UCLA and Missouri. Are any of those teams making a return visit within the next 3 years?

I believe UCLA and Missouri have return trips. I don't think Michigan or Nebraska do.Originally posted by byu71 View PostDue to a bad memory and laziness I am asking this question. If you can answer this off the top of your head, great, otherwise I will research it over the weekend.

UCLA is in Provo for 2016. Current P5 contracts:
Utah - One away game remaining on current H-H deal. Then one more H-H contract currently in place.
Michigan - One and done
Nebraska - One and done
UCLA - H-H
Missouri - H-N in favor of BYU
Arizona - H-H-N
W Virginia - Neutral
Cal - H-H
Wisconsin - H-H
Virginia - H-H remaining on 2H-2H series.
USC - 2 for 1
Wazzu - H-H
Stanford - H-H
ASU - H-H
Michigan and Nebraska are not coming back. Missouri comes to Provo in 2020 after the game at Arrowhead in 2015. Notre Dame has 2H-2H left in the current contract if they decide to honor it.
P5 teams for 2016 are Arizona (neutral), Utah (away), UCLA (home), WVU (neutral)
2017: Utah (home) and a whole bunch of TBA
2018: Arizona (away), Cal (home), Wisconsin (away), Washington (away), Utah (away)
2019: Wisconsin (home), UVA (away), USC (home), Washington (home), Wazzu (away)"It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12. To lose to Utah State is horrible." - John White IV

Great summary. Missouri here is a ways out, but maybe they have more honor than ND and will show up.

I foresee Wisconsin backing out of that trip to Provo, if not both games.Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
