  • We've already overloaded ourselves next year.

We're already looking at a losing record with the schedule and the mismanagement of the QB position by Doman and the gang.

I'm in the camp with Brock. I guess it's nice that we're playing every football team in the Gem State but I'd personally prefer to play less cupcakes.

I'd agree except for our coach has shown little propensity to beat anyone with a pulse the last few years.

We have handled in the past and 1 season as a losing one is not enough to cause such angst. I also do not think next year will be 3-9. I am not sure if it would even be a losing season. I see 6 loses (Including tOSU) based on the existing schedule I see here (I say we beat USU and Houston next year)..

I'm more interested in the spot Vandy vacated when it backed out of the 2013/2014 home-and-home with Northwestern at the same time it cancelled the OSU game. That would be a nice home-and-home

Agreed. If we want a game in the Nashville area, let's get one with Vandy and not MTSU.

I was referring to NW, but Vandy fits the bill, too. Vandy was the one that cancelled, though, and presumably already has its ducks in a row schedule-wise. NW, on the other hand, is now going to have to fill a last-minute opening that starts next year.

We're 4-3 right now and the fans are already screaming for blood. I'm sure a losing season next year will be received with understanding arms.

Expectations determine the outrage.. This year we had very high hopes.. And the outcomes of the games we lost is the reason for the outrage.. Not on who we play..

I find it hard to believe fans will be as outraged over this season compared to next years.. Many already have a negative feeling on the 2013 season with its existing schedule.. That won't change..

                    • I don't get all the 2013 Football Schedule angst. The schedule has clearly been upgraded, but a number of those games are at home and winnable:

                      Texas
                      Utah
                      Boise St.
                      GT

all seem to be programs that aren't peaking currently, and all those are at LES.

Anyone with an understanding of the QB situation did not have "very high hopes".

Sodo you think the coaches are performing well?

Maybe I should of been more clear.. High expectations were there for the Heap folks, and Riley folks, but the team divided could not be joined and the one person who could of resoveld the issue did not step up..

So there was high hopes for the "What could of been Heap folks" and the "If onlyfrom the Riley folks"..

But to be clear.. Many had high hopes for the season.. This was supposed to be our year to really shine...

His own fault. He misread the signal and ran the play.

Three weeks out, and the whole Taysom incident still stuns me. It's like the Benghazi of BYU football.
