Are we really the desperate to spin how successful independence is that we have to delay announcing the 2nd part of the series so it appears its a one and one? We fans aren't stupid. This is a 2 for one. Spin it how you want but this is 2 for one.

I like adding Wisconsin to the schedule, but I'm not a big fan of 2 for ones.

That's about how I feel. I don't get it.

I could live with it if every program with half a name didn't 2 for 1 us, but Wisconsin isn't the level of program that is worthy of this. There's like 5 or 6 teams I'm willing to do this with and Wisky isn't one of them.

I could also live with it if one of the games was a neutral site like in Chicago, which would be fun for the fans.

But hey, I guess Wisconsin is pretty neat in the college football landscape at this point.

And I completely understand that.

I just tire of them doing this and spinning it like it's a success.

2/1 with every big program is not a success. The way Notre Dame does it is a success, and we are no Notre Dame. When we do it this way, we get Weber State at home for 2 years to make up for it.

Even UNLV has had a 2/2 with Wisconsin before.

It's pathetic.

I think Tom's done a good job, and this is better than the MWC, but it's not sustainable to keep going like this. If we're ever going to reach the next level, which in my mind is an undefeated or 1 loss year, this isn't how we can do it.

Just frustrated here.
