Yes, I know Thanksgiving is the 4th Thursday, it's also usually around the 24th and I didn't actually check the calendar and count the Thursdays. So pardon the gaffe.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThe weekend before Thanksgiving, but still a nice late season game. Thanksgiving falls on the 4th Thursday of November, so November 23rd is before that.

Somebody posted a copy of the BYU-Wisconsin contract online. Apparently it's a one-and-done, with BYU netting a cool mil in lieu of a game in Provo."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

The million dollars is what BYU gets for going to Madison, not for waiving a return game to Provo. Also note this document dates back to late last year and was signed in April. I don't see any reason to believe there won't be a return trip based on this document and based on comments from BYU and Wisconsin.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostSomebody posted a copy of the BYU-Wisconsin contract online. I always assumed that 1-1 setups didn't include any payouts at all. It makes no sense for Wisconsin to pay a million so then byu can pay them, what, another million a year later? Doesn't make much sense to me to have a payout. I suppose the big question is how certain can we be that this is the actual existing contract and it wasn't superseded by a subsequent contract that is a true 1-1? Internet postings can be pretty suspicious at times.

It's definitely a positive step. Hopefully with some winning we can eventually move beyond it.Originally posted by Omaha 680 View PostIf we start getting our 2-1s with teams like Wisconsin in Oct/Nov and can shift the crap games to September, I'd still see it as a positive step."It's devastating, because we lost to a team that's not even in the Pac-12.
