    Other than football, not sure why anyone would visit Lincoln unless to visit family or friends. If not for football games, attending the university, or going to the capital on government business no one would visit Lincoln. The only time I went to Omaha was to attend concerts or pick up someone from Epley Airport. Attending the CWS is on my bucket list but it's not like Omaha is a happening town. Besides, Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel managed to have a good road trip to Lincoln in "Yes Man" so it's possible.

      NCAA wrestling championships were hels there a few years ago.. I enjoyed the trip.. Hotel accommodations were hard though...

            I have taken a lot of shit over the years for telling people marketing and self interest will determine who BYU gets to play and it has nothing to do with God wanting it a certain way for BYU.

              That's where you're wrong. God obviously did not want BYU playing Georgia Tech more than a couple times. He wants more variety in the upcoming schedule.

                Everyone stay calm. Tom and the boys will very easily find two road games to cover the vacancy left by Georgia Tech.

                  Good point. The valid come back everyone nails me with is, be patient. Things will turn out great.

                  Of course they don't realize I only have 20-25 years left tops and a good part of those years I may not even know who BYU is let alone who I am.

                      Not to mention all the big time schools clamoring at the door for a chance to play us. There are some AD's at big time schools right now smiling because there is an opening.

                          The more we schedule crap teams and the more good teams take advantage of us (2-1's, one and dones) or drop games with us the worse Independence will look to the higher ups. This is great news!
