ND/BYU announced for primetime ABC (5:30 pm MDT). Only thing that remains is to see if College Game Day comes and Fowler/Herbstreit will be on the call.
Originally everyone thought this week game day would go to Ohio State/Indiana. However, that game is already a noon EDT game on Fox and Big Noon Kickoff will be there. Combine that with the fact that this would be the third Game Day visit to an Ohio State game in the first 7 weeks of the season, I think Game Day coming to Provo is more likely.
Now, do we know anything about the LJ and Isaiah injuries to know if we have any shot to upset ND?

LJ ankle sprain. Not sure on severity.
No clue on Glasker. I think Clifton played pretty well, so I’m far less worried. But if Preston Rex is our RB1 against the golden do
ers, I’m going to be sad.
Put me down n the Journee Tonga has upside camp. Durability is a question mark due to his size, but with space, I think he’s got some decent upside.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

That’s a great time slot. If Gameday comes, someone had better tell Cosmo to mind himself."What are you prepared to do?" - Jimmy Malone

LJ would be a bigger loss. We seem to be deep at LB position. Big drop off after LJ.Originally posted by All-American View Post

Agreed. Clifton was pretty impressive filling in for Glasker, as big of shoes as those were to fill. LJ's loss seems like a bigger loss.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View Post

LJ listed as the starting back on this week’s depth chart. I hope he isn’t playing hurt. I would rather he sit out against Iowa State and be 100% for ND.

I think it’s just game playing. KS does that with the injury report.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.

I agree with everyone else that losing LJ is the biggest loss from last week. The problem at BYU is that we haven’t really ever had two NFL level runn in g backs on the roster at the same time have we? We’ve always had decent backs but it seems that our depth of great talent there has been thin."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

It happens from time to time. In '96 we had Jenkins and Mackenzie. In '01 we had Staley and Tahi. In '09 we had Unga and Tonga. But it's not super common.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI agree with everyone else that losing LJ is the biggest loss from last week.
