Congrats Utes. You beat #15 team (why is everyone calling it an upset when you were favored to win - preseason rankings are retarded) and earned first billing on Sportscenter. But I liked the intro saying that Utah wants to win so everyone stops talking about BYU. That killed me. LOL. I love Neil Everett. Howzit!
When did icing the kicker become bush leauge? There are plenty of things to criticize the Utes for last night...icing the kicker? Grasping.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

We will only have to endure this until Saturday.

It's always been bush league. Once is tolerable. Twice is really poor. Kyle even said he "probably shouldn't have done it" post game. He owned it so no biggie. Better than the excuse for kicking onsides against Wyoming.

He just got smoked nothing more to it.
No he bit hard on the move because he thought there was safety help and there was supposed to be safety help on the play. I can still respect him because he is damn good. Even if you were right it was one mistake going up against an NFL caliber receiver that he shut down the entire game.

Yeah we talked about it when it happened, he may have made an error in thinking he had safety help, but when a guy bites hard on a double move you see him bite, have that "oh shit" moment, then kill himself trying to get back into position. He didn't do that at all. He reacted as though he thought he had help then turned and ran a count or two later. Like I say, he may have been completely at fault but it wasn't for biting on a double move. And you are right, he shut down a guy that is supposed to be a first day pick in the spring.

            • Funk's favorite, Colin Cowherd is talking about the Utes...who he respects, but he's not thrilled with the coverage of the win. Perhaps he should read Cougarboard or selected CUF posts if he wants to hear a downgrade of the win.

He's pimping USC's win over Hawaii.

Well Hawaii could have beat Pitt.

Hawaii made USC's defense look silly and if it wasn't for an uncalled dirty hit on the UH QB, it might have been even closer. Their offense looked great though.

I don't really care which game was better...but a 49-36 isn't exactly a defensive battle, so the idea that SC is unstoppable because of that performance isn't exactly a selling point.

Oh, and now he pulls out the NFL talent card...lol.

Well the effects of SC going without contact or little contact showed I think. But Kiffin had little choice hamstrung by the limited number he has. Down all of those scholarships he couldn't afford to lose anyone during camp. They'll get better. Barkley and Tyler looked awesome though.

That's all fine...and anyone can manipulate their argument to make sure that they're right...he went from the media groundswell regarding Utah to the BCS after this win to...well, they don't have as much NFL talent as SC. Last time I checked, titles aren't won or decided by NFL talent...ask UNC. AND, if you want to play the NFL talent card, they held Lewis to 75 yards, he is certainly an NFL back is he not?

                          No. He's too small.

I didn't think that hit was dirty. The QB was running for the end zone 10 yards down the field and was not going to slide. He is a running back at that point and as long as no facemask is grabbed you can hit him however you want. It wasn't like he was an unprotected receiver.

That's just silly talk, Lewis is not only an NFL back he will be a 1st round pick.
