Yeah, I don't know about that. Why promote an unproven guy from another program? If you are going to do that, why not promote from within?

Vic So'oto is a linebacker coach at TT. They had an amazing defense this year.

        I would take that defense.

Which news are you talking about?

If you were talking about Jay Hill, he still hasn’t officially signed yet. Which is kind of weird.

Maybe the donors are making an offer.

Would be pretty awesome to stave off offers from both Penn State and Michigan within weeks of each other.

I’ve heard that Michigan avoids severance for existing DC if they wait until Jan 1st to finalize a deal. Dunno if it’s true? But that’s one explanation for the delay.

Last year 2-teams in the Final-4 of CFP and tOSU winning it all after taking out the entire top 5-teams. This year you have #1 & #2 from Big Ten.

Not the best measurement for an entire conference but. Those be the results.. Hence, why I included measurable other conferences and overall bowl games.

Big10 has two premiere teams per season that are better than their counterparts in B12 or ACC. This year (and most) it's tOSU and someone else. This year, the someone else is Indiana (which is impressive, because last year, I didn't think they were deserving of their CFP spot).

Take, for example, Iowa this year. I'm not an Iowa hater (they're my B10 team). They finished 8-4, ranked around 20 this year, probably because they're B10. But, they lost to middling Big-12 foe Iowa State this year. Other than the two elite teams, the gap between the rest of B10 and B12/ACC is just not that great. So when folks say "They couldn't handle a B-10 schedule," it really depends on if tOSU and the other good team in the conference are on the schedule. Otherwise, in the words of the immortal Shania Twain, a schedule with Rutger, Maryland, Northwestern, and Nebraska "don't impress me much."

To be fair to the Big 10, Oregon is probably pretty good this year, too. We get to see how they compare to the Big 12's top team pretty soon.

I think they’re good not great. Not saying they have no chance, but I like Texas Tech to win by two scores.

But if D-holes first rule of GM-prognostics holds true, Oregon will prove they belong by curb-stomping the Raiders.

Let's not get carried away. I have only ever questioned your insider information, i.e. predictions as they pertain to recruits and coaches. Your game prognostications are just guesses/speculations like the rest of us non insiders.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
