Taggart is fine. They had to fire the idiot co-OC driving drunk is inexcusable.
The strength coach situation is laughable at best. Less than a week after the Oregonian reports that multiple players and coaches from last season under an agreement of anonymity interviewed and stated that players didn't work out of the last year, skipped conditioning, lied about lifting, coaches used conditioning time to socialize instead of coaching etc, it was SHOCKING that in the first workouts under a new staff players who didn't work out for a year got overworked and injuries that come along with that.Get confident, stupid

40 pair of cleats?!? So your boys could each wear a different pair every week of FB season, and you still would have a surplus.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostNot sure. I've bought so much gear from players after they are done the last 3-4 years that I have more Duck gear than probably anyone not employed by the athletic department. Including about 40 pairs of cleats. It is kind of becoming a problem.

Are his kids big enough to be wearing college player cleats? I bet he's buying these to pair with things like Easter suits.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View Post40 pair of cleats?!? Just discovered this thread as a result of a google search on the phrase "Climbing is easier than hanging on" because I just heard Willie Taggert say this in an interview yesterday, two days before the Oregon Spring Game, when he was talking about the process and progress of spring training. My question is, why does this thread, which was apparently started 7 years ago, have this Taggart quote in it's title? Was it edited recently to reflect the new coach? I hadn't heard him say this before (and I'm one of those kind of fans that listen to a lot of my team's player and coaches interviews), but my google search also found Taggart had used this phrase in tweets while still at South Florida. Just curious.

The first rule of the "Climbing is easier than Hanging on" thread is to not ask questions about the "Climbing is easier than hanging on" thread.Originally posted by ChileDuck View PostJust discovered this thread as a result of a google search on the phrase "Climbing is easier than hanging on" because I just heard Willie Taggert say this in an interview yesterday, two days before the Oregon Spring Game, when he was talking about the process and progress of spring training.
