"Climbing is easier than hanging on" - Duck football
Hey, it was worth a shot. I think I'd heard his name once or twice before I started reading this thread a few minutes ago.
Ha. It is just funny that you pick him. Ask fucla and SC fans...miller skewers those schools regularly.
I guess you may be right, though. He writes full time about the PAC, so stands to reason that he may write more positive articles than most other writers.
Reading that Ted Miller article and comparing it with what I saw tonight, yeah, Ted Miller really knows what the hell he's talking about.
But who can blame him, that weak conference schedule they played this year did make the Ducks offense look pretty good.
It's fun to see all the PAC fans in this thread singing the praises of one of the biggest PAC apologists out there.
I just go to Miller for info about the PAC. Who else should I be reading?
EDIT: I came here to congratulate HFN on his Ducks' hard-fought game and terrific season. I am sure you're proud, HFN.

I went to bed. Not sure I missed much. They really need to fix the bowl system. The long layoffs really mess up offenses. That game wasn't much to look at as someone with no vested interest in either team. I didn't watch the second half but it sounds like and from the highlights I saw that Chip insisted to try and run the ball. Auburn's weakness was their secondary and when they were tested they gave up plays especially outside. That quick out was good for 10 yards a pop. Sorry HFN I really wanted your Ducks to win. Your seats were sick. I hope you and the fam had a great time regardless. I look forward to your pics.

I was saying this all night long. Spread the field and throw it 60 times. You obviously can not run and Auburns secondary is awful. Thomas still threw for almost 400 yards even with the insistence to establish the running game.
Sloppy game, but good game to watch. Even my anti-sports wife watched the Fourth Quarter with me.
The 1st qtr was something
4th qtr - How can you not make sure the guy is down?
I may be small, but I'm slow.
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to, "The United States of America ", for an amount of "up to and including my life - it's an honor."

I don't get it either. Chip's stubbornness cost him the game. The run was getting stuffed all night, and Thomas' decision making with the option wasn't very good. A couple of plays he pulled the ball out of LMJ's arms for a loss for what likely would have been a sizable gain. Plus the O-Line was getting pushed back disrupting all of their cute plays underneath like their screens and shovel passes. I would have gone max protect and kept going Air Maehl.
I'm not running and hiding FWIW, we are taking the boys to do some stuff today. I'll post my thoughts later for anyone that cares. I have a hard time being to upset losing a game on a FG on the final play of the game. It was an amazing experience.
