Do we want the UNLV QB Jayden Maiava? Would he want us? Possible influence from Robbins and new O-line coach I think. Anyway he just entered the portal.

Pretty good game in RES-West today. Do you suppose the ratings slipped at all this year?

    Edit: Yes he is.

I'm not looking forward to the Bronco fan boi portion of the BYU fan base devoting so much attention to the New Mexico football program. BYU Twitter is already saturated with it.

Heck, this would have been a good year for the Bowl Alliance. Rose Bowl gets the PAC and Big 10 champs, who happen to be #1 and #2.

Here's the Simulated BCS Top Ten:

    1 Michigan
    2 Washington
    3 Alabama
    4 Florida St
    5 Texas
    6 Georgia
    7 Ohio St
    8 Oregon
    9 Penn St
    10 Missouri

    Personally, my top ten:

    1 Washington
    2 Michigan
    3 Florida St
    4 Texas
    5 Georgia
    6 Alabama
    7 Ohio St
    8 Oregon
    9 Penn St
    10 Missouri

Florida St got so screwed. But like another poster mentioned, they helped create this system, which was intended to keep "little" programs out, so I'm not crying too bad for them.

Now when we get to the expanded playoffs, there is still always going to be someone who feels left out. But, I think the 12 teams should be good enough for the foreseeble future. If the expanded format were being used this year, this is how it would look with the actual current College Football Playoff Rankings:

    Seeds with byes

    1 Michigan (Conf Champ)
    2 Washington (Conf Champ)
    3 Texas (Conf Champ)
    4 Alabama (Conf Champ)

    Remaining Seeds

    5 Florida St (Conf Champ)
    6 Georgia (At Large)
    7 Ohio St (At Large)
    8 Oregon (At Large)
    9 Missouri (At Large)
    10 Penn St (At Large)
    11 Ole Miss (At Large)
    12 Liberty (Conf Champ)

    First Two Out

    Oklahoma
    LSU

    First Round Games

12 Liberty at 5 Florida St
11 Ole Miss at 6 Georgia (maybe this gets changed so conf mates aren't playing in the first round)
10 Penn St at 7 Ohio St (maybe this gets changed so conf mates aren't playing in the first round)
    9 Missouri at 8 Oregon

    Quarterfinal games
    9-8 winner vs 1 Michigan
    10-7 winner vs 2 Washington
    11-6 winner vs 3 Texas
    12-5 winner vs 4 Alabama
