    I think Dr. Hill has already thrown you guys a bone by saying he'd like to keep the rivalry going. Just accept it will be in September. It would be too hard to get excited for a BYU game with the Rose Bowl looming overhead.

    I'm guessing the dollar figure would have to be pretty high for the Utes to agree to taking on a non-BCS school in November.

    I'm guessing the dollar figure would have to be pretty high for the Utes to agree to taking on a non-BCS school in November.

    So I don't know enough about this stuff, but wouldn't a perfect slot for ND-BYU be championship week? Seems like ND would bite for that. Maybe you'd have issues with coverage. Maybe ESPN Thursday night before?

    Umm - nope. Ga Tech played GA during Rivalry Week, the week before the ACC Chapionship. And Clemson Played SC.

    Alabama played Auburn during Rivalry Week, the week before the SEC Championship . Florida played Florida State the same week.

    Texas played A&M during Rivalry Week - the week before the Big 12 Championship game. Nebraska played Colorado that same week.
